Data Deletion Request

MiCaso by PetitionPro lets users request deletion of personal information associated with their use of the MiCaso app. This page explains how to submit a deletion request and what information may be deleted or retained.
How to request deletion
- Email us at support@micasoapp.com.
- Use the subject line: Data deletion request.
- Include the email address associated with your MiCaso account or support request, if applicable.
- Tell us whether you want to delete your account, saved cases, documents, support messages, or all available personal data.

Data that may be deleted
Depending on what you used in MiCaso, deletion may include:
- Name, email address, language preference, and account preferences.
- Saved USCIS receipt numbers and case records.
- Uploaded documents, images, PDFs, notes, and document categories.
- Support messages connected to your account or email address.
Data that may be retained
Some information may be retained when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, accounting, backup recovery, or to protect the integrity of MiCaso. Retained information is limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Retention period
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days after verifying the request. Backup copies and security logs may take up to 90 days to be fully removed from routine backup systems unless longer retention is required for legal, security, or compliance reasons.
Important note
MiCaso is an independent immigration tracking and education platform. Deleting data from MiCaso does not delete records from USCIS, the U.S. government, or any official immigration system.
